Our focus

Personal thrust out from connection with Christ
Structural thrust in to deeper connection with Christ

Our Values

Prayer is our oxygen

Prayer is opening the doorway of communication, intimacy and power with our heavenly Father. The New Testament church was birthed in a prayer meeting and fuelled by continual prayer. We believe it is our prayer, and corresponding obedience, that pulls heaven’s heartbeat into earth’s reality. Let us pray His Word and swing our sword. Let us call on the Lord. Let us pray continually.

Ephesians 6:18-20 ‘And pray… pray… pray… pray… pray.’

Committed to growth and fruitfulness

We aim to realise the potential God has woven inside, rise in influence and continually become more Christlike. We are committed to a discipleship journey; a journey of continual growth. Stagnancy is not an option. We study the Word, listen, ask, sacrifice, read, connect, seek and abide in the vine. And as we do, we expect the Kingdom power of God flowing through us to bear much fruit in every sphere of our lives.

Philippians 3:13-14 ‘One thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me’

Relationships matter

Marriage matters; parenting matters; family matters; relationships matter. We think generationally and we are a church for all generations. Our heart is that the next generation will stand on our shoulders and shine brighter for the glory of God. We put on love, elevate unity over preference and speak life to those around us.

Colossians 3:14 ‘Put on love which binds together in perfect unity’

We see beyond

Our suburbs need the love of Christ. We are not preoccupied with our personal agendas, but live and give sacrificially to the work that God has called us to in our community and around the globe. We think others. We live in a place of expectation and readiness for +1 moments which are intentionally engaging with a person distant from Christ in a way that moves them a step closer to Him.

1 John 3:16 ‘this is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our life for others’

We unashamedly shine bright

We expect the victory of Christ to be real in our lives and we let His light shine through us for the world to see. This light is uplifting, excellent, attractive, unifying, door-opening, creative, life-giving, relevant, vibrant, grounded in integrity and overflowing with love and service.

Matthew 5:14-16 ‘You are the light of the world… let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.’

We are supernaturally normal

We expect God to move powerfully and supernaturally through us, in any and every setting we step into; but we are committed to minimising needless weirdness. We won’t stop at the edge of our comfort zone or ability zone, but we keep in step with His Spirit and step into the place of faith.

Acts 4:29-30 ‘Enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of Jesus.’
