Kindy Play is a pre-kindergarten program that offers a balance of structure and free-play giving young children active and social experiences that prepare them for school. To be eligible children should be at least 2 years of age. However, some children may benefit from waiting until they are a little older.

Our pre-kindy is staffed by qualified and experienced educators who share a passion for early education and a genuine care for the children attending the program. All staff have Working With Children Checks and first aid training including asthma and anaphylaxis management.

Kindy Play is approved by the Education and Care Regulatory Unit allowing parents to leave the premises while their children are under the care of our staff. Our program is governed by the national education and care law and regulations. We adhere to the national quality standards and follow the Early Years Learning Framework.

NEW IMMUNISATION REQUIREMENTS: As of 22 July 2019, new laws were introduced regarding immunisation and enrolment. You must provide a current copy (not more than 2 months old) of your child’s Immunisation History Statement provided by the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) and to enrol your child’s immunisation status must be “up to date” according to this document. These statements are available from Medicare online or from your immunisation provider.

Sessions: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (during school term)

Half days: 9:15am-12:15pm
Full days: 9:15am-2:15pm

Closed Mondays, Fridays and school holidays

Children may attend half day sessions or full day sessions and can enrol in one session per week or several sessions per week. The number of sessions children attend can be tailored to suit each family’s needs depending on preference and availability of places. A waiting list applies when sessions are full.

Fees (2022)

Standard fees are based on a 10 week term at the following rates:

One half day session per week – $365
One full day session per week – $575
Two half day sessions per week – $680
Two full day sessions per week – $1100

*Fee amounts for other session combinations are available on request
